Mexico AgroBIO is a civil association that brings together organizations interested in agricultural biotechnology in Mexico.

Mexico AgroBIO was founded in 1999 with the mission of creating a favorable environment for the development of this modern technology in our country.

To sensitize the society about the benefits of the responsible application of biotechnology in agriculture, by the flow of relevant information based on sound science.

Representing the industry related to agricultural biotechnology to collaborate in the development of national policies and regulations that promote environmental stewardship and health, as well as investment and technology transfer.

Promote the link between academia and the biotech industry, in order to strengthen training and strategic research in agricultural biotechnology.

AgroBIO main activities are:

* Working closely with research and development in plant biotechnology in our country.
* Organization and coordination of seminars on topics such as safety assessment, regulation of genetically modified crops and socio-economic aspects associated with the application of biotechnology in Mexico.
* Development of information materials to promote awareness of current and potential applications.
* Presence in the most important events of the agricultural, industrial, governmental, academic and health.
