Most of what you will see here is macramé, but Elaine Lieberman also show some of his work with sterling silver and pearls, Austrian crystals and semiprecious stone beads. All pieces shown are Elaine Lieberman's original designs. The wall hangings and most of the macramé necklaces are one of a kind. He also do custom work and will be glad to respond to inquiries.
In 1993, Elaine Lieberman turned his hobby into a business and began to sell his work at craft shows. Elaine Lieberman have participated in juried shows in and around the New York City metropolitan area and was awarded second place in fine crafts at the Gallery North Outdoor Art show in September, 2003 and third place in 2004. Elaine Lieberman's work has been sold in stores from coast to coast and exhibited at local galleries. For many years Elaine Lieberman was a member of The Alliance of Queens Artists and for many years He was also on the creative arts faculty of the Central Queens Y in Forest Hills, NY where he taught classes in jewelry making. Elaine Lieberman now teach small classes and private lessons in macramé and in jewelry making in Howard Beach.
